Lucy Took her first steps on Saturday but , was then waylaid by a short bug that caused fever and throwing up ...... SHES BACK AND FEELING GOOD !! She has decided that short walks are the way to go . Especially if mom and dad have food !

Lucy may not have figured out the crawling thing yet but, she has figured out how to roll from one side of the room to the other !!

Mom Is Over the Moon !!

Amy's time has come !! We have been trying to get Lu to say this for a while now and she finally did it ! Amy is over the Moon !!!

Lucy had a " Hair raising " day at Daycare ..... they sometimes get a little carried away with trying to give the Lu a new style .... keep your eyes on a upcoming post ... Lu rides Ari ... with video !!

Lucy had an early wake up call to be sure and get to the hospital in time for her surgery to get Tubes in her ears .... She was very popular with the nurses and got lots of visitors before going into the O.R.

She came thru the surgery with no problems and spent the rest of the day napping and playing with mommy !

Now all we can do is hope the tubes help with her near constant ear infections ..... ( this photo is of her in her tiny little hospital gown ....and yes her little butt did hang out ;) ....)

Lucy came home a chatter box ... and i choose to believe she has learned to say "Dada" and here is my proof !!

Lucy had some Rice cereal and B-A-N-A-N-A-S for dinner tonight She was a very happy girl !

Lucy had a pretty big week ! She began eating big girl food at AOL(abundance of love)and she got to party down with Bompa for his birthday ! Not to mention that fact that she and Amy are currently over at Gran K's house visiting and doing taxes while pop stays home with a sinus and ear infection .... Whats more exciting than your first year of taxes ?

" Pishhhhh , Um dad I'm a big girl !"

Lucy has hit the 20 week mark ! She has been getting to sit with the big kids at daycare and lurvs sitting in her "sputnik" at home ..... She seems to finally be kicking the ear infections after another round of antibiotics and is getting back into a more regular sleeping pattern (thank you higher power,what ever you may be!)

Lucy gives big hugs and kisses to the family far away and looks forward to drooling on the shoulders of family members a little bit closer !!!

Lucy had a big 18 week old weekend with visits from her friend Misty who brought her a new jumpy time thingy ..... that Lu loves ! And a Little Mimi and Bompa time , Two of her favorite people ! We have yet to see anyone make Lu laugh and smile as much as her Mimi even with LuLu feeling a bit under the weather with another ear infection !

A and I are making this blog with our family and friends in mind that don't live close enough to experience a little bit of LuLu on a regular basis ! We hope to share our experiences as they happen and look forward to sharing with you .
